The Springfield Motor Boat Club (SMBC) is a private club on
Lake Springfield in Springfield, Illinois. The club was established
in 1933 and has been maintained and expanded throughout the efforts and involvement of
its members. Most of the upkeep, maintenance and management of the club has been
accomplished by members, thus allowing for very economical club expenses. SMBC maintains a family-oriented character and sponsors numerous activities each year for family and member enjoyment. Contact Information
